Sun greets Moon
you sinner, you cry. while I burn
Sun greets moon
No mourning in the morning, cause I am there and everywhere.
Stars hang from the trees, and you are tall enough.
Backs around you bend all together, they gather and wisper and shiver and shatter
Your hands reach for the sky instead
your eyes are blind for the gold of the stars
Because you stand upright
They just hold their noses high and the level low
Tears are forbidden, they would open the heart
So the children never know
where to live and where to start
You, dear woman, shine so silver
Sun keeps burning, glowing bright
One thing we have in common
Light.
